The District 12 Treatment Centers Committee carries the A.A. message into in-patient alcoholism treatment centers. The committee members serve on panels and visit centers on a schedule to share their experience about how A.A. helped them to recover from alcoholism. The panels are not A.A. meetings.
A.A. Guidelines For Treatment Committees
District 12 Treatment Center Committee volunteers must have at least a year of continuous sobriety, have completely worked the 12 Steps and have a an A.A. sponsor. More information for volunteers is available here (PDF download).
